Alhamdulillah, this past weekend, UICA’s Youth Committee hosted two enriching events. The Sister’s Chapters and Chai gathering focused on discussing a chapter from The Ideal Muslimah, which highlighted the importance of respecting and honoring one’s parents. The session emphasized that a Muslim woman’s devotion to her parents is a key part of her faith and spiritual growth, offering valuable insights into how to balance familial duties with personal aspirations.
Meanwhile, the Brother’s Bonfire featured a halaqa on the concept of brotherhood in Islam, led by Br Hakeem and Br. Mohammed. The discussion centered on the strength of unity and mutual support among Muslim brothers, drawing from the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It encouraged the youth to foster a sense of compassion, trust, and solidarity within the Muslim community, ensuring that they support each other both in good times and bad.
UICA’s Youth Committee looks forward to hosting more events that bring our community together, providing opportunities for growth and connection. Stay updated on our upcoming activities by following us on Instagram and Facebook, and joining our WhatsApp groups!
