Daily Halaqa

Ibn `Umar reported that the Holy Prophet (saw) said: “When you pass by the gardens of Paradise, avail yourselves of them.” The Companions asked: “What are the gardens of Paradise, O Messenger of Allah?” He replied: The circles of dhikr (Tirmidhi).

The literal meaning of Halaqa is ‘a circle’. It is a study circle or simply a religious gathering wherein one studies the Qur’an ,the Hadith and other religious sciences,

Not only this way was practiced by the traditional scholars, but knowledge from chest to chest is the best way to seek knowledge because of the direct interaction with the scholar such that questions and answers are available.
