Christopher Boisse – Secretary
Hamza (Christopher) Boisse was born and raised in Massachusetts to a Christian family. At the age of 27 he moved to Denver, CO to attend a Bible College and earned his Bachelors of Sacred Literature. He went on to preach for the Church of Christ in several states over several years.
In 2014, with ISIS committing acts of atrocity in the name of Islam, he decided to investigate what sort of religion would authorize such deeds of inhumanity and brutality in the name of God, in our modern age. He began a year long study of Islam and the Quran, something that had never been taught to him previously. What he discovered was not a religion of terror, savagery and suppression but one of peace, acceptance and love, as he had never been taught or experienced before. On June 5th, 2015 Chris recited the Shahada and became a Muslim. He serves the United Islamic Center of Arizona as one of the member’s of the Executive Board, specifically the Secretary of the Board.Contact info
