Alhumdullilah this past Friday evening our UICA Youth Committee kicked off a new year of events with a beautiful conversation led by our very own Imam Didmar.
Imam Didmar reminded the attendees of the importance of the youth in Islam, the courage it takes to be a young Muslim in this society, and how we must swim against the current in order to please Allah. The lecture ended with a very informative Q&A session with Imam in which our youth were invited to ask questions on anything and everything on their mind and seek advice from Sheikh Didmar’s wisdom.
UICA’s Youth Committee is looking forward to hosting a variety of new events this upcoming year and hopes to see more of our youth connect with the masjid as they attend.
