On May 25, 2022, Mufti Didmar Faja visited the staff and the Mufti of the Muslim Community of Shkoder in Albania, Imam Muhammed Sytari. The city of Shkoder is the birthplace of Mufti Didmar, where he grew up and received his primer and essential education in Islamic studies from some notable scholars who outlived the communist regime.
During the meeting, Mufti Didmar inquired about the progress of the Islamic efforts in Shkodra. He also informed Mufti Muhamed about the progress and the challenges of the Albanian Muslim community in Arizona and the overall community. The two Muftis have remained close friends since childhood and have a lot in common. Upon an invitation initiated in 2009 by the Albanian American Islamic Center of Arizona, Mufti Muhamed visited the center in Arizona, where he delivered some motivational speeches and led the Tarawīh prayers during the entire month of Ramadan.
After the meeting with Mufti Muhamed, Mufti Didmar engaged in some friendly conversations with the staff of the Mufti’s office, Imam LavdrimHamja, Imam Arben Halluni, and Imam Ervil Kuçi.
