Dear Brothers and sisters of UICA
Assalamu Alaykum,
I would like to update you that the 1st day of the sacred month of Dhul Hijjah will start this coming Friday, August 2, 2019.
First 10 days are very unique because they carry special blessings. The ninth, August 10th will be the day of Arafat, the best day of the year, in which we are recommended by our beloved Prophet (pbuh) to fast.
The 10th day, which falls on Sunday, August 11, will be the Day of Eid al-Adha. The Eid Prayer will performed at UICA at 9:00 am. Don’t forget the Udhiyah for those who have the means. I pray that Almighty Allah enlightens our hearts during these special occasions, forgives our sins and accepts our devotion! Amin.
