Dear community members. Assalamu Alaykum
I would like to highlight again that Ramadan begins tonight iA with the Taraweeh prayers. America, Europe and some countries in Asia and Africa are also starting at the same time. ISNA (a big umbrella organization in the USA) and Imams Council of Arizona are in agreement that tonight is the first night of Ramadan and tomorrow fasting starts.
I am aware that there are individuals and perhaps even some mosques who are not going with the rest of the community. To them, I would humbly request to be with the community and not to act on their own in these matters. There may be a difference of opinions in regards to moon sighting but there is no difference of opinions in regards to our unity.
