Remembering the Beloved of God, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

Muslim believers from all over the state of Arizona came with their families and friends to UICA to listen to some beautiful speeches and Islamic chanting on the birth of the beloved of God, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). The gathering took place on December 9, 2017.

A part of the program was a recitation  from the Quran by the pleasing voice of Hafiz Fawaaz Hussein from UICA, followed with a speech from Imam of UICA Mufti Didmar Faja. Among others Mufti Faja mentioned that according to some Prophetic Statements (ahādīth), Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) is the most beloved and the most honorable human to God. He will be the one who will intercede to God on the Day of Judgment on behalf of his entire nation of Muslims (ummah) and he will be the one who will hold the banner of Praise (liwā al-hamd) under which will be Adam and the rest of the righteous people among the humanity.

Brother Faseeh Biabani also touched the hearts of those present with the chanting of his beautiful salawāts and nashids dedicated to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

Later, the guest speaker from Kingman, Imam Umar Farooq Mahmood commented on some verses from the Quran speaking about the virtues of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). He also emphasized to the congregation the importance of following the Prophetic Tradition of the Messenger of God, Muhammad (pbuh) by quoting a verse from the Quran, “Say, [O Muhammad], If you should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.” Quran (3.31)
